Advanced Pinout Mapping Matrix

Resolving complex connector mating faces in real-time.

The Mirror Effect

The most common error in harness manufacturing is the "mirror effect"—wiring a connector while looking at the mating face instead of the wiring face, causing a complete 180-degree inversion of the pinout.

SmartWireBoard eliminates this by utilizing physical terminal adapters. Instead of clipping a wire to a generic post, the operator plugs the wire into a breakout board that perfectly mimics the physical connector geometry.

If Pin 1 is wired to the physical location of Pin 12, the logic node instantly detects the mismatch against the netlist and throws a continuity fault.

Historical Data

Pin inversions account for 42% of all harness rework time in aerospace sub-assemblies. (IEEE 2023)
